EAST / AEST
About us · Since 1983

For 43 years, we've helped young people discover what they can build.

EAST / AEST is a bilingual non-profit and registered charity that empowers young people through enhanced, modern and accessible science and technology experiences — from elementary through CEGEP, across Canada.

Our story

In 1983, a dedicated group of educators and professionals came together to found EAST, born from a shared passion for empowering the next generation of innovators.

In 2001 the Montreal fair was rebranded the Montréal Regional Science & Technology Fair, and in 2002 the CRC Robotics program launched its first competition, Alphabetica. Four decades on, our vision is unchanged: ignite young minds to harness science, technology and innovation and drive transformative change.
